What We Do

Adoption/Foster Care

At LSS/NCA, we believe no one should have to walk through life alone, especially children. Through our adoption and foster care services, we provide loving, nurturing homes to vulnerable children.

Community Education and Congregational Partnerships

Community action begins with education. Throughout the year, our professional staff and dedicated volunteers join together to inspire local residents to support important local issues such as homelessness, disaster, immigration, poverty, and community service through public education forums.

Disaster Response

Disasters do not discriminate. They can affect any family at any time. To ensure our neighbors are safe in times of crisis, LSS/NCA works in partnership with local organizations to provide disaster preparedness training and coordinated disaster response and recovery.

Refugee/Immigrant Services

From the airport to their first job interview, LSS/NCA accompanies newly resettled refugees and immigrants along their journey to self-sufficiency. Our comprehensive case management services are designed to ensure newcomers begin their lives in the U.S. with promise.

Youth Haven Camps

Everyone enjoys summer camp, especially the children who participate in LSS/NCA’s Camp Kids Haven and Teen Retreats. Designed specifically for young adults with HIV/AIDS, both events offer a supportive space for children to share their experiences with one another while having fun and learning valuable skills.
