One way you can share in LSS/NCA’s ministry is through in-kind donations. New or gently-used gifts from individuals, families, groups and churches are most welcome.
Please note that specific items are often needed, and due to a lack of storage we cannot accommodate substitutions. Please check back often as we update our Wish List regularly based on the needs of the neighbors we are serving and the amount of available storage we have.

Thank you for thinking of LSS/NCA and the neighbors we serve! Below is a list of in-kind donations we are currently able to accept based on the needs of the people we are serving and our available storage. Please check back often as we update this information regularly.
A List of Priority Items
Right now we are especially in need of the following essential household items:
Waste baskets and Garbage bags, Toilet paper, Shampoo, Bath towels, Queen/full blankets, Can Openers, Alarm Clocks, Pillows, Mops/Brooms, Pots and Pans
Cleaning Supplies
Dish soap, Bathroom/kitchen cleanser, Sponges, Paper towels, Laundry detergent, Waste baskets, Mops, Brooms, Trash bags
Household Furniture
Dresser/chest of drawers, Kitchen table and chairs, Floor lamps, Mattresses, box springs and bed frames (twin, double, and queen only), and Couches/sofas
All items must be in very good to excellent condition
Household Items
Alarm clocks, Light bulbs, Pillows, New or gently used towels or sheets for twin, full and queen beds, Blankets
Kitchen Items
Pots, Pans, Glassware, Silverware, Mixing/serving bowls, Kitchen utensils (spatulas, wooden spoons, knives, serving utensils, can openers)
Miscellaneous
Gift cards to Target, Giant, Safeway used for emergency purposes
Metro cards and bus passes used to assist clients with getting to job interviews and medical appointments
Office Equipment
One of our offices that assists refugees in employment acquisition and skill building is looking for a projector to be used during trainings.
Times -- Drop-offs and Pick-ups
Drop-off: Monday through Friday 9 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Furniture pick-ups by appointment only each Monday.
Call 703-698-5026 ext. 113 to schedule a drop off or pick up. Pick-ups should be requested at least two weeks in advance. Your flexibility and generosity is very much appreciated.
